The PNG Development Team played the Grammar 1st XV for the Dylan Daure Memorial September 20 2014 at 3pm at Grammar's Main Oval.
Dylan was a former Grammar 1st XV player who passed away in December 2012. Dylan loved playing rugby for Grammar. He epitomized all the great things about rugby and the way he approached the game was a true reflection of his great character.
Dylan always gave his best. He was extremely dedicated and never looked for praise or accolades. He was the ultimate team player and always put his teammates first.
Despite making many representative teams he loved nothing more than playing for Grammar — as nothing could beat playing and standing shoulder to shoulder with is brothers — that was Dylan.
The Dylan Daure Memorial is a great celebration of Dylan’s life and a tribute to what he stood for. The match is about mateship, embracing new cultures, and the spirit of competition.
